I am trying to develop a millionaire’s mindset. What thoughts and actions belong to someone who is wealthy?

   read the book The Millionaire Next Door. you will be surprised. You have to pay yourself first and live very simply and frugally.

   I also recommend reading “Total Money Makeover” by Dave Ramsey. Some of the major principles are to eliminate any and all debt (including your mortgage), having an emergency fund, having insurance, and never cosigning for anything. It also goes into more detail about why buying a new car is dumb, why leasing one is even worse, and why you shouldn’t use debt consolidation, debt management, or a second mortgage to deal with existing debt.
